Pilates
How should I begin?
If you are new to pilates and would like
to use it a twork at home or in classes,
we strongly recommend you begin your practice
with our absolution pilates “into
package” ($150), which is three one-on-one
sessions with a personal instructor, in
order to kick start your ability to achieve
results on your own. Tell your instructor
that you’ll love playing around on
the equipment but are truly interested in
keeping the results going on your own. They
will work with you and the result will be
that you’ll get much more out of your
“away” practice than if you
used a video or DVD on its own. Think of
it as in investment in your health and well
being.
Taking up Pilates can be a little like learning
a new language... sometimes you have to
hear the words from different teachers,
and from different perspectives, before
you find the one that connects best with
your mind and body. Not to mention, just
committed three times and trying something
new three times will give you a chance to
see if you like it and it still appeals
to you as much as it did when it was an
idea. After your three initial workouts,
we’d be thrilled to design a regimen
for you, but If you’d prefer we’ll
send you home or welcome you to mat class.
We just want you to have fun with it. That
is why we created ourselves. We recommend
you try three different teachers in the
beginning. Many times clients come in and
absolutely love their first instructor and
that is it, and some people like to have
different instructors every time they come
in to enjoy the different perspectives and
personalities. Every instructor at absolution
expects you to “shop around“
until you find the ultimate combination
of stuff that works for YOU, so don‘t
worry about hurting anyone‘s feelings
by trying different instructors and different
classes. You’ll know when you’ve
found what works for you.
Having fun is the best way we’ve found
to work hard, and we feel
it is of utmost importance to enjoy yourself
during your workouts to ensure outstanding
results. To stay committed requires a certain
type of coach, and we are so proud of our
staff. We’ve turned the city over
for four years to find instructors that
excel.
We love how much our coaches love what they
do and how they like to share what they
know with others. Our staff are not only
masters in their chosen fields, but are
the kind of upbeat and positive people that
can keep you willing to try something new
and to go the extra mile. We’d like
to think that our focus on creating a great
vibe in the studio and our comittment to
excellence is part of why we attract the
cream of the crop.
