Semi-private classes
Semi private classes allow you to play on our equipment at a lesser cost, because you’ll be with three to six people, depending on the activity.
We know Pilates can be expensive, and like many of you, we want to find a way around that. We also know a good instructor usually has more requests than hours in a day, so we came up with a brilliant solution. Our most talented instructors now host reformer classes (aka semi-private classes). Get a Pilates-apparatus workout for a fraction of the cost of a private session by committing to a series of 10 semi-private sessions for $300. Go ahead, do your research, we promise you won’t find such a great deal anywhere. Especially not at the studio voted “Best of LA” by so many people. Do you get the same results in a semi-private class, as you will in a private? You bet. With Pilates, consistency is everything. Semi-private groups are fun. Because you are in small, manageable groups, you get a surprising amount of individual attention (we swear our instructors have eyes like those bugs whose eyes move in two different directions!!). If you have a basic understanding of an activity , you can skip the intro-pack and get right into the class. and if for some reason you’re just really not into the intro-pack, we highly recommend at least one private or mat class so you don’t frustrate yourself. Groups tend to advance together, which is nice, because you’ll often find a duet partner and make some friends.
How to Begin
note: We ask clients to take one private intro package($150) before joining a class, to get to know us, their chosen activity, and how the equipment works. Its amazing the effect doing something three times by yourself can have on group harmony and your inner perfectionist (that’s right, I called you a perfectionist!). Our intro – pack policy is recommended, but not enforced. Presuming you enjoy your introductory pack and want to continue, you can join semi-private groups and enjoy the workouts and personalized attention you need at a lesser cost.
Private parties and Private semi-private groups (you know what we mean!)
If you are a group of friends who and all want to start a program together, we are totally behind you and it is "the absolution thingy" we love most! Our intro pack policy is recommended, but not enforced. Just elect an "organizer" and have your organizer contact our organizer, laura robbins at lala00@pacbell.net.

How to sign up for semi-private groups:
Classes are $30 each. we ask that you purchase at least 10 classes at time, for $30.
—You must complete your series in a two month period.
(This is to encourage results and to allow your companions to continue the class at a low cost. we all know what a drag it is to organize a group anything and have one person take the whole group down. Boo. Hiss.)
—Reservations are required. You simply sign up in advance as if you were taking a private session.
—Our night-before policy stands. You will be charged the full amount for cancellations received after 8 pm the previous evening Believe us, it’s best for everybody, it’s courteous, its a good deal. It will help you commit, and it gives us time to find a replacement for some lucky client on the waiting list.
