About James deMalignon
Spiderman has nothing on this guy. It’s
one thing to watch rock climbing, another
thing altogether to make it look like a
walk in the park. By the time you are done
watching James deMalignon climb up a rockface,
you’ll think, okay, I can do that.
After you try it yourself, you’ll
check his hands and feet for sticky tape.
We had always presumed climbing was for
thrill junkies and daredevils (have you
seen those kooks who sleep on ledges?!),
but as it turns out, climbing is a precise
and diligent art involving a combination
of skill, strength, and grace under pressure.
James and Tjader (or “Tjames and Tjader”,
as we affectionately call our team of expert
climbing gurus) have been climbing for nearly
two decades and bring a repertoire of tips
and coaching skills suitable for first timers
or seasoned scramblers. We especially like
how “bombproof” (we love the
climbing lingo, too) they are about safety,
which made our first attempts at climbing
feel more fun than frightening.
About Tjader Harris
This is our other climbing guy, Tjader Harris.
He’s very camera shy and won’t facilitate
a picture of him climbing. (he’s astoundingly
fit and is actually always covering up)
